burlesque Movie

So last night I went to watch the movie Burlesque. I absolutely loved every predictable minute of it. From the feature boa’s to the fish net stockings. Oh the eye candy wasn’t too bad either. What lacked in the story line, they sure made up for it in Christina Aguilera’s singing.

Now that lady can belt a tune. She definitely took it to church a few times. Cher was also in this movie and hate if you want to but see looks damn hot for age. 30 wishes it looked that good. Enough faffing about the movie and let’s get back to Burlesque.

It’s official I want to learn and be Burlesque, if that is at all possible. You know what they say, your never too old to learn and I sure ain’t no dog. You might be wondering what the definition of this art form is:  Burlesque, a classic theatrical entertainment of parodic humor, or the broader American version featuring striptease, according to Wikipedia.

Is this is what grown woman sexy looks like? No ass shaking or gyrating nude on a pole, just the subtle art of seduction. Welcome to Burlesque, some refer to it as the bigger sister to the strip tease game.

Vintage Burlesque

This is an art form I would love to learn and it’s probably one of the leaders of the pin-up beauties. It’s laden with all kinds of sensualities and luxurious lingerie. These women get to have fun and dress up in their best under garment.  Silk stocking, suspenders, bustier, the list and the possibilities are mind-blowing endless.  Someone who is a little closer to home and brings the world that is Burlesque alive is none other than Dita Von Tess.  This lady just oozes sex appeal. Women admire her and men would die to just sit beside her.

Till we meet I again I am on a mission to find a Burlesque studio, so I too can swirl my feather boa.  It will give me an opportunity to indulge in my love affair of all things lingerie.
